Cardlock vs. on-site fuel delivery

Compare fueling at participating CFN locations with receiving fuel at a business site, and decide what to include in your fleet inquiry.

Fleet Planning

Cardlock: drivers use participating stations

A cardlock program gives drivers fuel access through participating locations. The CFN program includes card controls and reporting, and its locator helps identify sites along a route. Confirm which locations and products your account can access when arranging the program.

On-site delivery: fuel comes to a receiving location

Bulk delivery brings fuel to a business's receiving site. It requires a suitable receiving arrangement and a review of vehicle access, product requirements and order quantity. Delivery to a tank is different from fueling vehicles or equipment individually. Describe the method you need rather than assuming that all on-site services work the same way.

Choose around where the fleet works

If drivers already travel near participating stations, check the network against their actual routes. If equipment returns to a fixed yard, discuss whether delivery fits the site's receiving setup. Some businesses need both services. Compare the administrative work, driver travel, receiving requirements and pricing for your own operation.

What to tell our team

Share the number and type of vehicles, the routes they travel and any fuel receiving setup at your business. Ask about card controls for drivers separately from delivery scheduling for tanks. Navillus Petroleum offers CFN cardlock access and California bulk delivery; nationwide card access does not mean nationwide delivery.
